On December 31st, 2019, the World Health Organisation (WHO) was informed of several cases of pneumonia of unknown cause in the city of Wuhan in China. The hitherto unknown virus was a coronavirus. It was named COVID-19.
The French health authorities, the Directorate General of Health (DGS) at the national level and the Regional Health Agency (ARS) at the regional level therefore issued the recommendations in force for health professionals and people coming from the Wuhan region and advised against travelling to China (mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao).
The recommendations for the people who have stayed in China have been tightened, due to the increased circulation of the virus in China. They now also apply to people coming from Singapore, South Korea and the regions of Lombardy (Milan) and Veneto (Venice) in Italy. These countries are now considered to be at risk.
Inform the reception of your house as soon as possible if you have travelled to these countries during the past 14 days.
